Children aged 2 to 16 years pay ZAR 500 per child per night in the second bedroom of the family unit only

  • All accommodation on a shared basis;
  • All meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners);
  • Excursions and scheduled transfers as included in the quote;
  • Services of the camp/lodge guides and staff;
  • Laundry;
  • Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT).
  • All drinks;
  • Park fees, entrance fees, porterage, tours/excursions and transfers not specified in the quote;
  • Any scheduled commercial flights and related taxes;
  • Cancellation, baggage and medical insurance;
  • Staff gratuities;
  • Any new Government Taxes, levies, fuel or industry increases which are beyond our control;

Diving is not available on 25 December and 01 January each year.

Kindly note that the scheduled transfers are as follows;

  • From Coastal Cashews (Manzengwenya) to the camp at 10h30, 13h00 and 15h00 daily.
  • From the camp to Coastal Cashews (Manzengwenya) at 09h30, 12h00 and 14h00 daily.

Should guests not be in time for the above transfers we can arrange a private transfer at an additional cost.

  • The Manzengwenya access gate into the Reserve is open from 06:00 and closes at 18:00. It is not possible to enter the Reserve, nor exit from the Reserve, outside of these operating hours.
  • Please note that the transfer vehicle will wait for approximately 15 minutes and if the lodge has not been contacted regarding a late arrival the lodge vehicle will depart. Another vehicle will be sent when available at an extra cost.
  • Check-in time is 12h00 – if the room is available on arrival then an early check in will be allowed at no additional cost. Check- out time is 10h00;
  • If an early check-in or a late check-out needs to be guaranteed prior to arrival, then the full nightly rate for the night before or after must be paid for in order to secure this space;
  • Please ensure that you are aware of our booking conditions. Taking this journey with us implies your acceptance of these conditions.
  • Prior to confirming the booking, each guest must take out comprehensive travel, medical, cancellation, curtailment and default insurance for the duration of their trip.
  • Due to the remote area in which we operate, it is vital that all guests are covered for emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances. We will not be held responsible for any guest travelling without insurance.
  • The relevant cancellation policy applies should the guest fail to join or start their journey for any reason, including airline delays or missed connections. Please ensure adequate travel insurance is in place for any such eventuality.
  • The lodge is situated in a low risk malaria area. Please consult a medical practitioner, pharmacist or travel clinic to establish what precautions will be required.
